His videos crack me up. The screaming, the moaning, the motivational speeches, and the drama.

I wonder about his range of motion too. When I've seen folks train close to contest time, I've known quite a few people to recommend slowing down and going through the whole range of lotion to really bring out the cuts and detail in the muscle. Phil looks to be poofy...wonder how much Hany has him on. Damn.

He would connect with the audience much better if he owned up to the fact that he's really a dork/cornball who happens to have enormous muscles instead of trying to be mr. Swagtastic pimp

Hands on knees while doing leg press, Weider Cheat Principle of Peace.
Oddly, when he is training arms, he's all in.

As someone had said yrs ago, he was like Flex Wheeler, but with Jay as a guidance counselor. Flex wanted to portray confidence onstage, and Phil at this moment wants to portray the balla.

I am not a fan of his physique at all because it's too big and poofy for my tastes.
A huge fan of shoulders and arms on a man and his are just too much.   When he stops training after the O and downsizes he looks all right but I haven't been a fan of the physiques since the late 90's. Looks bloated and drug induced

he makes it look easy which isnt all bad and I'm sure he trains smarter than the people who went crazy in the gym and fell apart after their careers were over.

Well this persona he's trying to portray looks silly and i think that's the big reason people like trolling him. After 2 minutes I gathered that this guy is an insecure cornball who is trying to portray the big baller shot caller.  i get it he wants a more glamorous image than the bodybuilding world but he's working with some lames right now And it shows with these social media arguments

He looked better when he was just starting out.
And yeah, even back then he made it look easy.

His persona was better yrs ago. As he progressed, and social media got bigger, he got worse. The insecurities. The arguing on social media.
He came on here, last yr or so, and was cool. He had a laid back vibe. But then it's that social media that messes him up---like he is two different people.

Yep. If I had never seen him on social media or at that press conference I wouldn't be able to understand why he gets so much hate.  He certainly takes more time and is way better at connecting with fans than many of the pros I've seen over the years.  He looks people in the eye, he's personable, he talks to them...He's great!  He's a fantastic speaker and really can work the crowd.

But the social media stuff I think is telling off on the fact that he's not very secure and that's dangerous when you're in such a pressure filled position.  I am rooting for him.  I hope he figures it out.

I cannot say I am at all impressed with his general style of training.
Though it sure works wonders for him.
And he makes it all look so easy.

Great genetics to responding to all he does.
Training,food,gear, etc.

Leg genetics of peace. It really irritates me that these guys can train with such crappy range of motion and work ethic and they can still have better legs than me.
