I just finished watching this doco and it was well put together.  I can't help but hate the people who run the world after watching this show.  Prohibition can only be described as an immoral act, introduced by puritanical elites and enforced by mindless do-gooders.

Someone seems to have uploaded it here -

http://www.disclose.tv/action/viewvideo/192714/how_to_make_money_selling_drugs__must_see_docu_about_useless_drug_war/ .

I'm interested in the prices and profit they throw out for the street level stuff, and how much the dealers gas their heads up. One the better papers I've read on street level dealing was this one - http://repository.cmu.edu/cgi/viewcontent.cgi?article=1041&context=heinzworks . Granted, it's old now, but the numbers seem to mirror what I saw knowing some corner boys.

The documentary is about drugs, very little about rappers and just as much about how the powerful elite have fucked everyone over and created what can only be described as a disillusioned and desperate dystopian society. And drugs may be boring to you, but they are an unavoidable part of modern day living.

Jesus Christ.  Talk about living in a bubble.  For fucks suck you are posting on a forum about bodybuilding, a sport/activity that is devoted to the use of drugs.  I don't know how you think you are avoiding them, you even pay exorbitant tax rates due to The War on Drugs.  As for the most of the people on the planet avoiding them, what a ridiculous statement.  I would go as far as to say the majority of the worlds population has used drugs in one form or another at some stage in their lives. This documentary isn't really about how to make money selling drugs but it highlights the ridiculousness of the war on drugs and the huge negative social impact such a war has had.

"The World Drugs report for 2012 is out and it shows that 230 million people around the world - 1 in 20 of us - took illicit drugs in the last year. The report also says that problem drug users, mainly heroin - and cocaine-dependent people number about 27 million, roughly 0.6% of the world adult population."

Rap music was invented to launder drug money.

I was talking about all drugs, not just illicit ones, but you seem to suffer from the usual blindspots the average citizen does, if the drugs are legal then they aren't really drugs.

Plus, your maths seems all fucked up 230 million people is 1 in 30. And you are right, a tiny minority have a problem with drugs, the majority can use them with no problem, just like gambling and alcohol.  Just one more illogical reason as to why there is a war on drugs.

Not only this, in America in 2013, an estimated 24.6 million Americans aged 12 or older—9.4 percent of the population—had used an illicit drug in the past month.  One can only imagine how many Americans have actually used illicit drugs at some point and not just in the last month.  Thanks to Americas insatiable appetite for drugs Mexico is now run by billionaire cartel operators.  America has the World's Highest Incarceration Rate, thanks to it's love of drugs combined with the War on drugs.  Considering illicit drug taking is a reaction to a stressful and miserable environment, one can only imagine what a shithole America is for so many people.

How is that incorrect.  I am talking any type of drugs, from aspirin to valium. And let's not forget alcohol and tobacco.  I don't know anybody who has never had drugs at some point in their lives.  To say most people on the planet has avoided them is naive in the extreme.   in 2011, 4.2 billion prescriptions were written in the U.S. equalling 13 prescriptions per average American.
