On Why The GOP CANNOT WIN in 2016
« on: August 23, 2015, 04:57:37 PM »
Host of "The Last Word", Lawrence explains how the big win for the republicans and John Boehner in the 2014 midterms, and the alienation of black and latino voters, is bad news for the GOP in 2016.

Black folks should do what Steven A Smith said and vote Republican one election. His premise, was that the Republicans know you won't vote for them so they don't care, and the Dems know you will so don't really do shit to help.

Worry about your own people...Black people don't give a FUCK about your opinion. :)

In case you have not realized, the video makes it clear. The democrat nominee already has 2016 in the bag.

Keep living how you're living then bro. You can't expect to keep doing the same thing over and over again and get a different result.

Is everyone's lives complete shit now?

I mean, the way everyone acts like the US is just in the shitter, I would expect everyone to just be having the worst lives ever.

My life is pretty alright... not perfect, but pretty damn good.

Obama isn't gonna be on the ticket this time.

the Dems are gonna have a lot of blank, confused 'wtf just happened' looks on their faces in Nov 2016.

Why would the dems have a "WTF look" after they win the presidency again?  ::)

Watch the video above and then tell us all how the republican nominee gets over 270 electoral votes.

I think a LOT of obama voters would have to vote trump in order for him to win.

It's a very difficult path - I don't know how trump does it.

Whoever wins in 2016, a democrat will be in the white house.

I understand the current 'electoral picture', but the entire concept is counting dearly on too many assumptions to be set in stone. the DNC is fully taking for granted the standard talking point assumptions. they are simply assuming whoever is the Dem nominee (looking like its gonna be someone pretty weak) can re-create Obama's voting blocks simply because they have  (D) by their name. obama was a one-off miracle candidate for the left..they couldn't have designed a better D candidate in a lab, and the the timing of his campaigns happened to be perfect as well.

this time around, all these factors will not be in the D's favor. all the momentum is on the R's side, all the voter excitement/anger/emotion is much more on the R's side. we just came off 2 terms of the most divisive, left wing President ever. whoever the D is, they will not be winning 98% of the black vote. they just wont. the DNC/Dems are simply assuming that they will automatically win such an overwhelming percent of blacks, Hispanics and Asians that they will win for sure. if its Rubio vs Hillary or eve Cruz vs Hillary...or Sanders..or Biden...do you honestly think the D is gonna win 70% of the Hispanic vote?? no way.

once you get past all the fluff and fat of these early months, and you have only 2 names on the ballot, everything is different, the dynamics can be completely changed.

the Dem's are putting all their eggs in one basket and assuming all will go well...kind of like what they did with Hillary.

See, I think the repubs are SO MUCH disgusted with their batch of candidates, that they are willing to settle for an immature democrat that hates foreigners.  Rand went center too soon, Cruz looks like a goober, Walker is just a dork, Jeb is a pothead with no drive, Christie is a pu**y now....

There is no repub to get excited about.  Dems?  They would get behind Warren, that nutjob socialist, or whoever.  Dems will always vote for their free shit.

I watched the clip.  He says he took his "analysis" straight from a Republican commentator named "Chris Ladd" from Texas.  Long on predictions, short on facts.  They largely took a handful of state initiatives and a handful of non-presidential races to predict what will happen in the 2016 presidential election.  Not very sound at all IMO.

Anyone trying to predict exactly what will happen, without even knowing who the candidates will be, over a year out, doesn't know what they are talking about.

In addition to not having the nominees yet, there are things that will likely happen before the election that will help shape the outcome.  Remember the financial collapse in 2008?  Or the storm-maggaden right before the 2012 election?  Those things didn't singlehandedly decide the election, but they definitely had an impact.  Who knows what will happen in 2016?

It's fun.  It's the point of a political board. Predict, guess, analyze and discuss.  Trump just has to maintain this lead until he wins the early states and his money can take over.

The new brand of bandwagon trump supporters are very happy right now.

It will be interesting, and you'll have to wait until then to find out. My life's not terrible now, and I suspect it won't get any worse or better because of who's in the White House unless the shit really hits the fan like a crash or something.

politico did a nice piece on how helpless trump really will be in his first 100 days.

without congress going batshit crazy with him, nothing he is yelling about can really happen.
