I don't know what you mean by a well know statistic but far more people who are poor remain poor and those who become rich and stay rich. In fact, when one becomes very rich they establish dynasties that carries their wealth from generation to generation.

It is easy to hate Floyd because of his worship of money, something very seedy, hollow and artificial about your entire persona being based around money and the accumulation of wealth but there is no denying he has done very well and been tremendously successful.
