Height should NEVER be an issue in bodybuilding. Flex would easily be top 5 in the open even at his 212 weight. That being said I pick Flex.

Couldn't he just choose to do the open class instead if he wanted to? Technically all he'd have to do is come in weighing 213 or more.

Height used to didn't matter as much. See Shawn Ray, Lee Labrada, Lee Priest etc...It's b.s.

It would be cool if they compared them for the overall winner....kinda like they did with Arnold and Franco in 1975.

Flex has the same fake looking blown up muscle, Phil actually has more fine detail. Flex's muscle isn't striated at all, just blobs of gh induced water.

I don't know what wes is talking about when he says Flex gets in WAY better condition.

He just looks harder and drier at contest time IMO..........plus his physique flows a lot better..........better lines even for a shorter guy.

Height does not matter?
It's favored and if all else is equal, the taller guy will win as it just looks better.

Yates
Haney
Arnold

All of them had height and dominated.
