Ted Cruz' problem solving ability
« on: August 31, 2015, 08:53:13 AM »
Heard Ted say that we need to padlock the IRS and send all 90,000 employees to the border. I couldn't believe the stupidity of that statement and wondered how long I would keep my job if I made recommendations like that to my boss.. "Chief... we have a shortage of cops, lets close down the offices and man police cars with the Administrative Assistants" and say it with a straight face... Yet I'm sure his audience was like "Hell yeah! Great idea Ted!"

Now I'm liking the padlocking the IRS part.. but seriously suggesting we send office workers to man the border.. re-locating 90,000 workers and their families.. just stuns me on the stupidity these politicians spew forth and the rate in which the American public eats it all up...

the anti-everything mindset of the base is worse than ever.

reminds me of 2010 when "i am not a witch" and "i smash things with a bat" paladino were all the rage.

the stupid shit that some of the GOPers have said in the last week, to keep up with trump, ugh.

Carson is actually climbing quickly because he STOPPED saying stupid shit.  He's finally seen as the only grownup right now.  Walker with a canadian wall, cruz sending accountants from IRS to lay in desert with rifles to stop illegals...

stupid shit all around.  And trump just keeps getting worse, bashing wiener's wife because he cheated?  How did his first marriage end?  WTF is wrong with the repub base?

Since Cruz is much much much much much smarter then you I'll just assume he was joking. If we look deeper....we close or cut the IRS and send those job/slots to the US Border patrol to hire new agents, beef up equipment, training and salary.

I love the way top reaction to some of this stuff you people have. OK Trump is any idiot and anything he says I have to assume was not well thought out but Ted Cruz on the other hand, is not an idiot. He'd tie Ol Barry up in knots during a debate. Hil would look like a drooling retard.

US Rep Todd Akin "Women who are raped rarely get pregnant because the female body  has ways to try and shut that whole thing down"

Joking or serious?

Congressman Hank Johnson fears too many marines stationed on Guam would capsize it.

Serious or Joking?

Ted Cruz- Padlock the IRS and send the workers to beef up the border

Serious or Joking

He never says he's joking and has repeated that mantra many times.. Is it safe to assume because something a politician says is ridiculous, they are joking? Spoiler alert.. the first 2 examples were "serious"

its called humor, he uses this line in almost every big speech and it always gets laughs from the crowd. just part of the game, politics.

but honestly, defending the IRS is not a winning strategy for his opponents. people hate them, for good reason

You gave 3 examples.....

1...guy is a retard
2...guy is a super retard

Cruz was making a point. If you can't read between the lines I can't help you

Actually he wouldn't.  Hillary will have Cruz's mascara running.

Yes, Trump is an idiot, but he is an idiot that Cruz is scared of.  Cruz used to be the bad boy of the GOP but Trump came along and neutered him right away.  Cruz and the rest of the GOP clowns are scared shitless to stand up to Trump and take him on.  Only Graham stood up and tried to go toe to toe with him.  Even Krispy Kreme is walking on egg shells around Trump.

She can't tell the truth to save her life. Cruz was an award winning debator at Princeton...you think he'd have any issue kicking the dog shit out of her?Oh wait I know....schooling only matters when its Obama cause he's the best barry ever to walk the earth. Hil is fading dude, you won't have to worry about her.

Cruz is my #1 choice... but a quote is a quote.  He should include that he's joking in the sentence.

Video of him saying it, proving it was a joke?

When would that happen?

Last I heard Obama had his 2 terms and Cruz was still trying to even get a party nomination.

Cruz actually has the real credentials they pretended Obama had, academic wise.

I didn't hear the comments, but sounds pretty obvious to me that he didn't mean that literally.

Have you watched any extended discussions with Cruz?  The man is incredibly smart and poised.
