IMHO, when you take into account quads and calves, Arnold had perfect leg proportions and size. I'm not a big fan of these balloon thighs where you have to waddle around and look like a fatso in clothes. Look at Kai walking around in those sweats. Unless you have a keen eye for bbing he just looks like a squatty fatso waddling around.

Arnolds quads look great there. When he dieted down for contests his quads lost the most size.

But sadly, I had to grow up , And like most pros, the guy is full of BS ....  he was asked recently if he thinks there was a point where he could beat Lee Haney , he said he couldn't beat Lee "Spiritually or mentally" or some none sense like that )


Bottom line is that Mike can't admit that physically Lee was better ,or that Arnold had the quality calves he couldn't developed.

I trained with Mike in the mid eighties. Mike had one of the best upper bodies of all time. Had to see him up close to appreciate how thick he was especially back then.

Ric Drasin pretty much came out and said Arnold had something done to his calves.   He said Arnold disappeared for a few months, and when he returned, he had big full calves.

I remember in one interview he talked about how John Sherman had the skin of an elephant. And he went off on a tirade on some other bodybuilder---and started name dropping others who were better than said bodybuilder.
He ran his mouth a lot, he looked good, but he wasn't the phenom that he made himself out to be.
