Anybody noticed a difference of bp between traditionnal method and electronic machine ?

My bp is generally normal with traditionnal method, but with the machine, it's weird. The brace seems to little for my arm, my arm are something like 46/48cm, when it "pump" i can hear the velcro almost tearing apart, the nurse was watching the brace with worry, then the machine pump so much it become painful in my arm and i can feel the blood flowing in my brain, but the machine didn't find the bp, so it repump again. The doctor took my bp two time with the machine, and the machine had to "repump" twice to find my bp.

I checked on internet and obvisously normal brace are not for ppl with big arm, any info ?

I like salt on french fries and home fries. I don't put it on anything else.

Blood pressure cuffs (what you're calling a brace) come in various sizes. 19" arms shouldn't be a problem.

Yes but being moderate with your intake is even more healthy.

Salt already exists naturally in meat, nuts et cetera and the amount is great. No needs to pour extra salt over your food.

You are right of course, but damn salt makes everything taste so good. It is probably like other addictions, we find reasons to justify it.

Totally brou. Addictive as f.

I promise that if you quit salt cold turkey the buds adjust in 2-3 days and you taste the natural saltiness in all meat.

Then you eat something salted and you kind of get disgusted.

I eat very clean and sprinkle quality sea and lava salt on my food. Our bodies needs salt(obviously), but you have to figure out what works for you(just like water/fluid consumption).  If you're pounding liters of fluid throughout the day, that can push you into the other extreme.

I cook practically everything from scratch and salt in layers as I'm cooking (Kosher, cuz it's pinchable) ~ a pinch in the onions while sauteing, a pinch on the roasted vegetables, a pinch in the morning eggs, meat, gets salted before throwing on the grill, salt goes into baked goods and other sweets ~ it brings out the flavors.  Pasta - make the water like the ocean.  Table salt ~ never.  Maybe a finishing salt if the recipe suggests.  Commercial food  :-X - way too salty

Do you think it is necessary to have some iodized salt in your diet to help prevent goiters? Most "designer" salts are not iodized.

It's genetic whether it affects bp. Not for me so my food would poison sea fish.
