I would hereby like to formally analyse the below image.In the image by ironmeister, in the following shortened "IM", we see Goodrum and Basile in a war setting. The image has typical IM themes such as guns, hypermasculinity and Getbig members in unfamiliar contexts. One might argue that the image can be analysed as Basile and Goodrum being very fearsome with their new weapons. I would argue, to the contrary, that IM tries to convey the notion of "what would happen if these Getbiggers had guns...?".
The machine, that Basile is in, is likely an implicit reference to his biceps suspinator. On the machine is also seen a nazi swastika. The swastika is in sharp contrast to Goodrum's homosexuality, but as can be seen in the image, Goodrum seems to be happy and unaware of this fact.
The soldier, who faces Basile with his back to the viewer, seems to be taking orders from Basile. The image in several ways thus conveys the symbolism of Basile being a war general / commander and Goodrum being his soldier. Let it be unknown if this is IM's artistic intention.
As a final comment, the image can also be seen in the context of both Basile and Goodrum seeing themself in a higher regard that most Getbiggers view them. This is therefore an artwork by IM that gives these two Getbiggers the power that they lust for, but in the dark and gloomy nazi context. Would these men be able to handle these powers well?
