She is being a bitch and refusing to give me back my treadmill cos "she uses it and loves it"

Problem is I am 5 days out from surgery and I am too embarrassed to go to the gym with a sling and answering 20 million questions of what happened...blah blah blah.

Is there even a point of me going and walking on the treadmill or dieting right now?
No way I can run even right now.

what exactly do I do in between waiting to recover which can take up to 9 months.

Walk to the treadmill store, buy one for $700 and walk home and you already did one day of exercise.  Tomorrow walk back and ask when it will be delivered and walk back home.  Keep doing this until it's delivered and you won't miss a single workout.

Go to the gym and use seated pin-loaded calf and leg press machines. Work on your legs for a couple of months.
