It looks like he might not be competing this year. Couple of posts from the MD forum...

"I just got confirmation from a former Olympia Winner that Kai Greene is not competing in this years Mr. Olympia, just wondering if anyone else has heard this since I heard his contract wasn't signed yet, but today was the first I heard that he was not doing the show."

"Yes at this point he hasn't signed an Olympia contract and the deadline was today.Seems he is out."

This is not surprising, since his FB is filled with his supplement company the last few days. Post after poster after post is about his supplement company.

If Kai does not compete, every competitor will be thanking their lucky stars that they will be bumped up one spot.

On Periscope someone asked PJ if Dynamik was distracting Kai from the O. PJ said there are some things going on behind the scenes that not everyone knows about but in his latest pics he looks absolutely crazy.

Someone else asked him how he thinks Kai will place and PJ said "If Kai does the Olympia then I think he would get 2nd place"

Why would he say IF? He must have some information that makes him think Kai might be sitting this one out

I'm so disappointed...I was hoping that the press conference was going to be hot this year. Now it will be boring....unless someone else is a shit stirrer. Maybe Dexter will get it hot. He seems to throw shade at Phil sometimes.

What does Kai accomplish by doing this? Its not like the IFBB is going to pay him just to compete.

Maybe the dispute is over opening a booth for his new supplement line. Maybe the expo sold out of space and its too late, so if he can't have a spot at the expo, he is backing out of the show.

Kai will be doing the Olympia. The IFBB is not going to remove him for signing the contract late. There are clauses to cover such issues and Kai is fully aware
that passing on the Olympia is not the right way to launch a new product line. His handlers are not going to permit him to miss the Olympia and anyone who diets
like that is not going to just walk away from the show and all that prize money especially after leaving $40,000 a month.

Or maybe he's trying to create buzz for his supplement line. He's been blowing up social media today.

I have heard from a pretty successful pro that hte competing thing is all bullshit anyway. Maybe he got tired of being second and knowing things will not change this year.
