Blasting and Cruising vs Cycling
« on: September 12, 2015, 05:48:51 PM »
My endocrinologist says that there are both positives and negatives to both.

Blasting and cruising:

Positives according to him: More hormone balance compared to cycling if kept in check with AI
Negatives: When you transition from a blast to cruise, your estrogen can change a lot, causing issues with dosing anastrozole and side effects that come with high/low estrogen, harder to rebound and might result in permanent fertility issues. Must use HCG or HMG to restore fertility, may take months.

Cycling:

Positives; Less fertility issues, less long term effects related to steroid abuse. Dose doesn't matter as much when cycling, therefore you can take a much larger amount of AAS and still rebound just fine. The duration of use is more dangerous than the dosage used.

Negatives: Hormone rebound effect when cycling off, body has to get back to homeostasis (obvious reasons why you do PCT)

So basically:

Blasting for long periods of time with high doses is more dangerous than cycling with high doses. Fertility is more of an issue when blasting and cruising. If you don't want kids, then blast and cruise to hearts content. Pretty much what one would expect.

No serious bodybuilder will cycle off for more than 3.5-4 months a year and that is even crazy long most of us don't get off and haven't gotten off for years...3.5-4 months is not even long enough for the body to return 100% fully to homeostasis when cycling on and off...So there is no point if you're competing or are serious about it to come off until you're done with everything....UNLESS it's a hobby and you want to look good on certain occassion then i can see it...But if you want the bodybuilder lifestyle and want to be a serious bodybuilder than by cycling on and off constantly is going in the exact opposite direction than where you want to go...It's taking 4 steps forward and then taking 2-3 steps back...If you want to do something do it right and you will...,,EXCEL! 8) ;D

That makes sense.   Short durations matter more cause you are obviously not shut down long.  Doses don't matter cause shut down is shut down

That's why I was thinking prop doses high x 8 weeks, twice a year
you are gay.

thissss/... will.... beeee... bettterrrr... in terms of keeping gains...BUT it will still not help anyhow/whatsoever with the restoration of your hormones because the off-time is just not long enough...So if one is really focused on keeping gains and wants to find ways of keeping gains...The answer is right in front of you  ::)
