just spent an hour watching Goldberg matches (only WCW). Great entrance, ultra powerful, really enjoyed watching him. Went downhill once he went WWE

I was a big Goldberg Mark..
But I think he got exposed when he got to the WWF.
He was hard to work with and wanted to continue to do his streak gimmick refusing to job to other wrestlers.. I think that was his down fall..
He was not multi dimensional and didn't want to change his character thinking it was still the early days of wcw..  :-\

He was downhill after his first loss but he was awesome to watch before then.

Love watching the old Goldberg matches. Especially that time he jackhammered Paul Wight. Was fucking nuts how strong he was!!

Never liked him.

Great look, but no skills.

I hate all gimmicks that are about the undefeated streaks because eventually you all have to get beat and then, what are you doing?

Nothing... Just looking stupid.

May I suggest watching the older Steiner Brothers tag matches. Scott had some sick moves then. Including, my fav, the Steiner Screwdriver. How did that move not immediately break someones neck I'll never know.

And then he came to WWE for a year and they killed him...
The end.

Never liked him. Felt he didn't pay his dues and wasn't truly "one of the boys".

True, but you can't blame him for what so many other people handed him.

That was an awesome move.   Saw a Japanese version of it where the guy did it by jumping off the top rope and driving the other guy's head into the turnbuckle.

I believe I saw that. They're so creative with their moves over in japan.

He was in the right place at the right time...during the wars....a big athletic guy, loved by fans, million dollar a year guarnteed salary. Good for Goldberg for taking advantage of it.
