wasn't he saying this things as a dem?
trump speaks in such generalities. Vague, 4th grade level wording of "great" and "loser" and "bad" and "super". Everything to everyone.
In his heart of hearts, he's always been a liberal. Until 2008, when he took an anti-obama, but not particularly anti-obama position, kind of role.
Look at trump's positions today - he thinks we should take in syrian refugees. He was in favor of amnesty in late July, then reversed course suddenly. He wants to raise taxes on wealthy. Nobody truly knows just how liberal he'll be once he's in office.
It's not just me being a CTer. It's wall street and the GOP freaking out that the repub base is about to nominate a democrat who wont even pretend to have conservative positions.
Cruz/Carson is ready to pounce when Trump slips in the polls, but when will that happen? SO MANY people I know were totally anti-obama, but now they're loving trump, who actually shares many positions with obama. Scary.
