To be clear - we have to kick out 17 year olds about to enter Harvard, because "they are anchor babies".   We have to kick out people who have been here 20 years working in the fields, because "they're criminals".

BUT

We have to let in completely unknown refugees from Syria, after ISIS has promised to get their people into the refugee stack.

Um, Trump, at least be consistent.  You're either hardcore close the border, or you are hardcore let everyone invade.  But you said you'll kick out 10% of the population - send 30 million people OUT in 2 years.   BUT we "have" to accepts tens of thousands of syrians - many ISIS members - because... ???

Defend this, ANYONE, please?

The United States should take in some refugees from Syria, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump said Tuesday night.
"I hate the concept of it, but on a humanitarian basis, you have to," Trump said in his first Fox News appearance in two weeks, appearing on "The O'Reilly Factor."

"This was started by President Obama when he didn't go in and do the job he should have when he drew the line in the sand, which turned out to be a very artificial line," Trump said in reference to Obama's red-line warning to Syrian leader Bashar Assad in 2013. "But you know, it's living in hell in Syria. There's no question about it. They're living in hell, and something has to be done."

Asked if he would have removed Assad, Trump said "something should have happened" after it was revealed that he used sarin gas on his own people.

"Probably, in retrospect, they should have gone in and done something with Assad. But you know, Assad is not our biggest problem because Assad and ISIS are actually fighting," Trump explained. "So now what we're doing is we're fighting ISIS and ISIS wants to fight Assad. Some people could say, 'Why don't you just let them fight out and you take out the remnants?'"

You bet there are alot of ISIS infiltrators coming with the Immigration Wave.

Good way to be overlooked hiding like a wolf in sheeps clothing inside the masses.

"Starving" refugees protesting at the border, refusing food until they gain entry. So they can enrich society with their wonderful culture.

Absolutely. No mercy. Chin up and tell them to turn and walk away or they will be fired upon. Or ... They can just sit in the dirt and starve to death. They ain't coming in.

Their horrific culture is what has made their nations the hellholes they are. And they bring it with them without pause.

I like Trump, but why does "something has to be done" have to involve the destruction of non-Muslim countries?! Since when are these nations responsible? Sure, decent people want to be decent, but at what point does an individual come to understand the primary importance of preserving his OWN culture, way of life and values?

These refugees DO NOT care about German culture, Swedish culture, British culture ... They will become settled in these countries and continue to live as they always have. And those settled ghettos will become, at least temporarily, unofficial Sharia zones (until they become OFFICIAL). In time, the Muslim numbers and evaporation of the original culture will spell the ultimate end of the marvelous societies these once were.

Maybe some of the ones running away from terrorists like ISIS are not terrorists/scum?

The issue is moreso that Germany made the naive announcement that it could take 800,000 (later 1,000,000) people per year. That was like opening a bank safe full of money and being shocked when people rushed in. Now Germany has closed its borders (violating EU law after it had chastised other countries for not taking more people) and reality is kicking in.

Many of the refugees need help and even though I'm right wing it doesn't mean fuck the helpless. Just take people in who are genuine and you can accommodate. Turning away someone who has had half their family raped and murdered is sickening to me. Sifting through the masses to find these among the chancers seeking economic migration is difficult and made worse by Germany's initial stance.

What is even more galling is Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait etc have said they are not taking in refugees (from fellow Muslim countries) as they fear there will be terrorists among them. Yep, no terrorists from Saudi Arabia. Yep, Qatar, country of 300,000 natives with a multiple of slave labourers from Nepal that has highest wage per person in world and is hosting a world cup won't take in fellow Muslims...despite funding ISIS.

Already made that much clear. They don't even have the sense to pretend ... not that they need to. The West's humanity will ultimately be its downfall. I think even the dogooders know this, but they feel obligated to act, regardless.

Saudi Arabia refused to take any refugees - but will donate money for 200 mosques in Germany to accommodate refugees.

1) Yes, incredibly reassuring to think maybe some aren't.

2) Yes, as galling (and predictable) as it was in '48, when none volunteered to take in displaced Arabs "escaping" Israel.

'Yeah, we don't want them, but we'll gladly help 'em usurp native culture and impose oppression/intolerance (and terrorism) in any way we can.'

OK, I will reaffirm what I said. 95% will be fine. 5% is a shitload to watch for though.

I don't believe in open door policy - it is naive and stupid. EU has had months to think about this, and has wasted time. A cogent policy should have been implemented to take in those fleeing war, say fuck off to economic migrants for now and house those you can't determine. Instead the EU waited til Sept (when seas get rough again) to adopt a strange policy to allow people in - but that is EU commission - unelected tits. EU didn't agree anything. It is a total clusterfuck. It is also rich of Germany to welcome all in generosity, having raped Greece, chastise other EU states for not doing what it does, then close its borders - what it chastised other states for doing.

Because they have illegaly crossed borders to USA. So they are illgals and criminals who should be deported. People from Syria are refugees (majority of them).

Turn all of them away.

They bring no value to American society.  We have enough government leeches here already.
