Yes, but a bodybuilding competition is not being judged about who is most fired up. Its about who has the best physique. If you have the best physique, then you should win, whether or not you're fired up. Another stupid thing that judges or other gurus say along with, "He has to pay his dues first" or "You have to knock out the champ." None of this shit means anything in reality. Just garbage spewed by the powers that be.

You can be a good poser and put effort into posing without "being fired up." I don't even know what that means "fired up." Does it mean screaming and yelling and pumping your first in the air? Again, another stupid thing spewed by lame ass judges and gurus.

I was just viewing some old school bodybuilding competitions and no one was "fired up" like their describing today. There was no awkward faces, screams, yells, or fist pumping.

But as you said, we live in that type of culture today. Everyone is trying to be "HARDCORE" a la Danna Linn Bailey or the numerous other cliche fitness people.

Just get up on stage and pose well. No need for all this theatrics.

Well for me being fired up means putting passion behind your work. It means taking the time to practice posing and putting together music that means something. Being fired up means putting forth an effort. These guys are boring and without energy. I'm not talking about screaming and stomping around the stage. You just look crazy doing that. I'm saying put some energy/showmanship behind what you're doing
