the problem with countries like that is that women are not allowed to go outside. Even with a man it's rare because then "men will stare them". Women are literally things to be kept at home as personaly property that you should value and not show to others. This type of culture will surely produce men who are afraid of women, sexuality becomes a taboo and frustration will transform into shit like this.

Does it make it right? HELL NO! But it is explainable why would a whole nation do shit like this. Pakistans governor for example is embarrassed and depise it and was surprised after being in the office for 7 months how huge of a problem it is and really wants to end it. Has nothing to do with islam just like the vatican and kkk have nothing to do with christianity
