36 Days--I Blame Wes

36 days of paleo, hard training 5 days per week. Lots of giant sets, always moving, intermittent sprints, superfast walking, jogs. around 2400 cals/day

havent lost a pound. Nothingggggggggggg  279 pounds to 278 pounds--ok 1 pound

It's Wes' fault  :P :P :P :'(

If you're not losing weight, it's because you're not in a caloric deficit. I don't see how you're eating that many calories and, at the same time, going low carb.

If you're like every other fat person I've met who is always dieting but never loses weight, you're bullshiting about your diet.

I write everything down to the T and never lie to myself cause that would just be stupid

and lol, I dont "always" diet--I never diet--I spent the last 10 years eating everything

Oh I feel better a million percent. The first day it took me over 16 minutes to go a mile and I was finished after 1 mile. I can now do a 12 minute mile and did 3 miles, so its improved. Im old though, gonna be 50 soon, so things go slower and I understand that. Im just so impatient  >:(

To stimulate your metabolism, I would suggest to do a re-feed once or twice a week by upping the carbs with 200-300 grams.

By Paleo, I'm assuming you mean low carb.

I had about 100 grams of carbs, today, and my total cals were about 1800. I don't see how you're eating 2400 on a drab diet.

Try eating 3 to 4000 cals a day for 5 days and then eat nothing for 5 days and repeat this for 6 months...Only train on the days you eat...1 gallon of water on training and eating days and 2 gallons of water on no eating/training days. You won't lose a pound of muscle. And tons of weight will come off you. Don't do cardio for weight loss. If you do it, do it for your heart and to keep the blood flowing. Cardio for weight loss is for chicks.

It's a rough indication, and it depends on your body fat% (the lower, the more you need to up the carbs in order to 'reset' your metabolism). The rationale of a refeed is that it will restore your thyroid & leptin hormone levels. People like Lyle McDonald & Layne Norton (and yeah, I know that both are controversial sometimes) have written about this in more depth.

and do a minium of 1 hr of cardio per day     one pound is not much for weight loss

However, if you are not getting what you want, you are to blame. It is your job to lose weight, to eat better to exercise more. Wes is using a telescope, you're the person he's looking at.

A personal trainer can't make you get the body you want no more can a financial advisor make you rich - ultimately it's up to you.

This is generic, bland but the truth. YOU only lost 1lb fat because of what YOU are doing.

Some of us lose weight on 5k cal/day (me) some gain fat on 1.5k cal.... I've shitty calves and random fatsos on streets have better calves even though I hit calves 5 times a week. That's life, it ain't fair, but you control it and have to work within your limits.
