Its not an HIV drug and its very bad news. The drug treats toxoplasmosis which is mainly for cancer patients. The most common use is Vietnam Vets who got that Agent Orange shit on them.
Its not the only drug...Doxycycline went from 50 bucks to 1849...Cycloserine from 500 dollars to 10,800 dollars! Its the latest money making scheme. Hedge fund investors and other businesspeople are buying out common drugs and jacking up the prices to ridiculous amounts to make very quick money....and because most people are already on these treatments, they have no choice but to pay or die.
