I think mustafa looks good but that pose isnt good for him. it shows his quads off well but makes him look unbalanced.

Aerian, many BBers emphasize and de-emphasize certain bodyparts to maximize their chances of winning. They don't do certain poses against certain competitors, or they adjust standard poses to emphasize certain bodyparts. During posing routines, they do the same thing. Bending/twisting/angles have made a lot of competitors look better.

he actually wore shorts to highlight his weak calfs so he would train harder! by the time he was mr o they were not weak if anything they overpowered his quads

calves are seen from every single angle. Its not like bad back or poor abs. Ur statement is not correct sayin arnold hid his calves. WHen he was younger his calves were constantly pointed out by his peers. So he BUILT them up. And in his olympia days did not have WEAK calves as u say.
What i laugh at is the fact that some can think that u can hide a totally obvious bodypart this day in age on a bodybuilding stage where every single angle of ur body is seen, photographed, etc.

How could dex, alves, melvin , ronnie possibly pose to make their calves not appear small???

umm but he didnt have weak calves, so those poses didnt DISTRACT the judges from the terrible flaw some seem to think he had.

arnold only had weak calves when he was 17-18. If you watched the programme properly, youll notice that Wag Bennett told him he came 2nd because he had weak calves, but within a year they responded and eventually reached 21". I dont care who the hell you are, a 21" calf is NOT weak!
