Here's a comparison shot for ya.  You need a back to win in the big leagues.

If you're gonna put a comparison shot than why not one with Dex and Branch?

That is the one on Flexonline.  I am sure others will pop up, but they will prove my point easily.  No contest from the back.  Branch looks great from the side, but his front relaxed shot really highlights how his lower body overshadows his chest and upper body.  Dude needs better symmetry.

I agree Branch still needs to make some adjustments, but he will.  This is his highest placing & he's still young as a pro.  He's a mofo beast & keeps getting better.

Chris has a really large ass. He's one of those guys who would win if all the competitors had to sport an off season physique

I agree, he is large but he is anything but young.  He is 31 years old.  He will get bigger, but will he make the quantum leap that Coleman made.  Only time will tell.

This from a guy who can't even go to a gym on a consistent basis.

Even better, although my bad.  When the guy who gets what, sixth, kicks your ass from the back something is wrong.  Branch's shape sux bad.  Dude will never win the Mr. Olympia.  Hell, he got a gift here.

Branch reminds me of Yates with the powerlifter look: torso too big for the arms and and boxy waist and hips along with the same lack of aesthetics.

Like Yates he'll never be aesthetic and if it's close, will always lose to those who have it, like Dex, who also has the great arms Branch doesn't have (yet).

31 is not young? Even for a bodybuilder? Didn't Coleman win his first Olympia at 34 in 1988?

Flex Mag was toughting him the end all, be all back when he was 25. Thing is Chris was smooth when he got his pro card, and has been smooth at every single contest since then

I think you are right but it was 1998 that Coleman won his first "O".
Whoops. My bad. Typo.

But the point was that bodybuilders really hit their prime in their early 30's. So 31 is young by those standards.
