Sweet child of mine (guns n roses) and usher song released in 03/04. I have willfully forgotten it. Used to be played nonstop in a big nightclub here, filling dance floor with complete dicks.

Pop yo collar?  :D

Agree on ac/dc, but don't think I'll ever get tired of hearing the guitar work at the end of Paradise City.

Slash is one hell of a guitarist, to be sure.

I like Styx, but Deyoung all but destroyed the band with his Kilroy was here Mr.Roboto Cheese. Like Tommy Shaw and James Young a lot. That concert from 96 was the last time they played with Deyoung, great concert. Deyoung has great voice he is so fucking cheezy.

agree 110% on the Kilroy/roboto shit

Pretty much anything played on rotation on any Classic Rock station in America. Not to mention any top 40 station or easy listening station.

Yeah, I mentioned "Man in the Box" earlier, but "Rooster" could be included as well. Maybe "Sea of Sorrow," too - NEVER "Would," though. But that's me.

The Star Spangled Banner. The most overplayed song in history, has lost its significance.

Classic rock stations play the same stuff over and over

It's always the same songs by:

Boston
Floyd
Zepplin- Wood it kill them to play when the levee breaks?
Petty
Chicago
Doobie bros
Yes
Seger
Foreigner
Skynyrd
Bad Company
Heart
Tucker
U2- play the fly and thats it

Dont need to hear anything past

Metallica-  AJFA
Crue- SATD
Scorpions- Blackout
AC/DC- they can play touch to much and thats it
GNR- they can play brownstone and thats it
Ozzy- Ultimate Sin
Def Leppard- High n dry

Will be adding as I think of more

Overplayed or just not a fan? 'Cause, man.

Just hit me recently. "We Die Young" and "Bleed the Freak" were always my favorites.

But I feel like you about anything Black Crowes, Blind Melon, old Stones, old Aerosmith, (most) Zep, Creedence, and (most) Roth Van Halen, among others. Bon Scott 'DC, too, except "Big Balls." It was a joke song, and the joke grew stale years ago.

You'd be surprised how many can't identify the correct war. Ask around, but do so in person so they can't Google.

I would have gotten it wrong...... :-\   At least I am honest. I immediately thought of either the American Revolution, or to a lesser extent, the civil war.

The war of 1812 really does not come to the forefront, when thinking of American engagements.

Still, as an American, it's something we should all know  :-X
