Dennis James speaks German and English fluently, but does he have a foreign accent when he's speaking English? What can native-speakers say about this?

I spoke to him briefly at a contest and noticed no accent.............very briefly though.

His German is GREAT but you can hear that he primarily uses English to communicate because of his pronunciation. Bennis kinda speaks like the guys in the Austro/German movies after WWII where our society were infiltrated with American ideals and cliches(New York, rich uncle in America, American businessman, Americans bring prosperity and freedom, etc.).
