The only reason they left is because Reagan armed the resistance against them with anti aircraft stinger missiles. They couldn't fly anything without being shot out of the sky.

The only way these Muslim countries can exist in relative peace is if they have a dictator who rules with an iron fist. It's the only way to control these savages. That's one of the reasons Russia wants Assad back in complete power. Democracies/republics will never work in these countries. Look what happened when Libya, Egypt, Iraq and Syria when their rulers got over thrown.

yes...provided stinger anti-aircraft missiles.....the afghans started shooting down Russia's big helicopter gunships with loads of troops on board...... Russians started taking heavy casualties.

ISIS are just a by product of Wahhabism and Salafism. Both those two fractions of Islam are dominant in the oil rich gulf nations which incidentally, Western nations are friendly with.
These gulf nations will continue to push their fascist ideologies globally as long as they have the wealth to do so.
