Anger Management
« on: October 01, 2015, 09:41:36 AM »
I have always had a short temper, getting into fights from early age.

I have a very stressful job and AAS usage sure contribute to me getting berserk mode from time to time.

Yesterday I had some problem with the gf and got really mad and punched several holes into one of my apartment doors, leading to my hands being a bloody mess. Also, had some fights leading to some charges that were dropped.

I gotta get my shit right...but dont wanna stop the AAS. I use only test prop around 150 mg per week with 600 mg of EQ EW with 40 mg of var daily.

I also smoke weed in the evenings and that my be also the part of the problem.

If I keep going this way I will be in jail at some point so I gotta get my anger under control.\

Any tips or suggestions will be appreciated

The best way to get rid of anger is exercise and fatigue. It's good that you know that is not going the right way. Try to focus on those things that make you to feel calm: sports, reading, cooking, sex. Use imagery; visualize a relaxing experience, from either your memory or your imagination. Hope this will help you a little.

Were you mad at yourself for punching out that door and injuring your hands?  Or did you want to blame someone else?

Get some professional help. This is a hard issue to overcome alone. You recognize you have a problem....this puts you halfway there. If you think it is the AAS, ask yourself if being jacked is worth risking ruining your life and possibly ending up in prison.  If it's the weed (which sometimes mellows people and sometimes makes them paranoid), give it up.

When I was younger, I also had issues with my temper. Nothing good ever came from my tirades. It took awhile to get my temper under control. I did a lot of things that made me look stupid and nuts, which I regret.

I manage my anger by directing it at, and taking it out on other people.  Works.

To me, that sounds like a really good sign.

I'd say stop the EQ as it doesn't really yield the greatest gains for the money you spend especially if vet grade and switch to something like NPP and i think you'll feel better

Getting angry can be a great thing, really.  But I suppose it depends who you're angry with and what you do with it.

Getting angry with people you love is usually a mistake, the way I see it.

i might try that. EQ increases my anxiety combined with weed resulting in poor decisions. AS yoda said:

Small steps. Give up the weed. And if that's not possible, then only smoke high CBD weed.
