Difference is Japan never got involved in Syrian nor mid east politics....why should it pay the price for other peoples mistakes?

Exactly. Why are Germany leading the movement to welcome refugees in Europe? Well maybe they still feel a little bit of guilt related to the whole ethnic cleansing programme they had going not too long ago...

Japan have never stuck their nose in anybody else's affairs and have no obligation to help solve the rest of the world's problems.
