Just got my glands pulled out. A lil lipo too. All under local anestesia. Pretty excited. Always been self conscious about saggy/puffy nips since i was a lil kid. Hopefully i can live life now and not focus on my pecs everytime i take my shirt off

I hope it was done in NY...

Ps: your estrogen can still be very elevated with the glands cut out and your nips can still get puffy and lactate with certain compounds

It was local. If you go under general anesthesia, its another 2-3k atleast in cost. Dr. Blau is good, but there are guys who specliaze in it all over who do it just as well. Its a fairly simple surgery? Dr blaus price is inflated due to location and his celebrity in this subculture.

I havnt taken bandages off but will shortly and will let you know how i think it turned out so far

For $2400 you must have done it in south America or Thailand.  No way an American doctor charges so little.

A lot of insurances will cover it because it's a medical issue that can occur without taking steroids from aromatase of testosterone into estrogen. Of course it's more common with steroid using bodybuiders.

Good luck with that.  A lot of doctors don't want to do it.  I tried going through insurance and they wouldn't approve it.  they'll prescribe me every drug known to man but wouldn't approve the surgery and even then they won't take the whole gland out.

Wrong again. Like i said...local anasthesia is the key to low cost. Surgeons charge 2-3k in general anesthesia alone. So mine would have been double if they knocked me out...atleast double

Man up, endure some pretty bad injections to numb you up, then your in the clear. Its worth saving 2-3k in cost IMO. Some would disagree though.

Results look great so far. Very pleased. Only been a 48 hours or so. No pain, just annoying that i cant move around much

lactate with the glands completely taken out? you sure? genuinely interested here...

i know that glands can grow back if they just left a tiny piece in there, similar to cancer really
however i didnt think you could lactate without glandular tissue?!

btw dave do you think every pro nowadays got gyno surgery? are they just too stupid to run proper AI/Serm protocols or do you think its inevitable with all the growth promoting agents?
aaand whats your stance on GH and gyno...
does GH increase the chances of gyno growth because of cell proliferation and structural similarity to prolactin?

you seem to know your shit thats why im asking

I think you're nuts not getting general anesthesia. I'm surprised the surgeon agreed to do this using a local anesthetic. No offense, but this sounds really ghetto. I hope you get a good result.

No way man. Not a problem at all. Its easy bro. Pretty standard for gland removal. Even dr. Blau does local for some. Saw a video of it actually. I think alot of guys have been brainwashed over the years in this subculture that dr. Blau is the only competent gyne surgeon and if he is charging 7k, then thats the going rate. Ive had 5 different consultations and they all range from 2 to 3k for just local gland removal. Just find a doc who understands that is gland tissue is the problem. Gyne surgery is well studied now by most competent docs. Considering approx 50% of men now report having this problem, its big biz

It depends on the quality of your insurance. I guess most plans wouldn't cover it.

Nope. not incorrect, I speak from experience.
If you get symptoms the gland hasnt been removed properly.
