New AC/DC album is fantastic. I dont consider them "metal" but they are heavy-rock.
As I listen more, I like it more.  'Witches Spell' is pretty much classic AC/DC:

Lots of feeling in the tune (Once it gets going). (And great to hear Brian back in (and Phil).



Excited about John Cyriis/Agent Steel to come out soon. (Been a fan since early 80's):

Hell yeah - its vintage ACDC all the way.  Malcom would be proud.

Same here, most of the metal these days is just speed metal with silly lyrics.

Pantera had balls and soul, classic Groove Metal.
Metallica is great, new stuff not so much.
Megadeth has some amazing tracks and the guitar skills are incredible.
Slayer is still Slayer, i like their older stuff.

Megadeth craps all over Metallica.   Dystopia was amazing.   Metallica has one or two good songs since justice and black and that’s it. 

Megadeth has been putting out solid stuff all along.

Agreed. When i was younger i liked Metallica more, but today it's Megadeth all day long.

For 80's stuff there are some recent returns to the scene: Sacred Reich, Flotsam/Jetsam, Overkill themselves, New Maiden Live, etc.

To me - Megadeth destroys Metallica.  I used to love metallica and still do - but since listening to all the others - you realize how overrated they are.   

There is no single Metallica song that holds a candle to this entire album.  And I love Metallica too!   Maybe Orion   which is a masterpiece.  But of the Big 4 Metallica is the bottom for me -  Its Megadeth / Slayer 1/2 - Anthrax 3 and Metallica 4. 

This to me is a FNG masterpiece.
