The Last Kingdom tv series starts on BBCAmerica tonight.

Hope its as good as the series of books by Bernard Cornwell.
Based on old England during the time of the late 800's during the Viking invasions and Alfred trying to unite England.
A young Anglo/Saxon is taken captive and grows up a Viking and his torn loyalty's as he grows up.



....Love the books and hope the series can live up to them.

Watched the first show and thought it was good.
Some good violence and good but also a good story line.
according to the reviews I read it really picks up at the third show.


....pretty brutal how the vikings tortured the prisoners in the hall after they captured them!
