Not even linkedin. I don't even post a photo on my company's internal site.

I use 6 email addresses. None include my name.

I live in 3 countries during the year based on business needs.

I don't have any social media.

A Google search with my name returns nothing relevant.

To answer your question though. No. I prefer to be anonymous.

Ive always wondered what guys get out of being mouthy online while staying anonymous. Im not targeting you here, its just a general question. Like how can a guy look in the mirror and think he is funny and special when he is scared to face reality. Yes I understand trolling, but I dont understand what they get out of it or how they think they are anything at all. Ive done some shitty stuff online, but Ive never hidden who I am and always extended an invitation to anyone who wants to deal with it in person.

Sure its "just online", but to me, if you cant say it in person, why say it online. I guess its an outlet for scared men to say stuff that they would never say face to face with anyone.

Good question. Likely due to some level of self hatred. I am a nihilist after all.

But I'd suggest that it's simply due to compartmentalization.

I'm many different people depending on circumstances.

I always assume everyone on here is "playing a character" to some extent, except possibly yourself

That's a big part of the fun of this place, and most people don't get all butthurt about it.

Like I would never say half the shit I say on here to someone's face in real life, would be a good way to get my ass kicked.
