Benzos to sleep/relax after long day working and training...

Anyone else indulge in benzos to "come down ," and get some sleep or relaxation? I used them for months but do to fear of addiction I'm giving them up. Still it's hard to just flush a klonopin and Xanax bars when they're not only expensive but hard to get.... Gonna try to go natural, maybe melatonin...

Agreed. I have a friend who committed suicide due to his xanax withdrawal. And he survived being a heroin addict for 6 years. Benzos are scary shit.

Plenty of options, GABA, Phenibut (can  have withdrawal sides if not used properly), melatonin, etc.

I tried gabapentin (neurontin) in huge doses along with smoking weed.

Great mix for general anxiety/restlessness and lowering inhibition a tad to become more social.

i would rather take gabapentin than use benzos

don't do it though... don't take any of that shit for recreation or even anxiety. there are better medications out there to help those with anxiety disorders; ones that are safer with fewer side effects

Took xanax of and on for 6 months last year for anxiety.Holy hell when i stopped i felt like my anxiety was 10 times worse.those withdrawals were harsh for about 2 months.Been taking ativan same way but its much weaker than xanax.Started taking magnesium at the advice if someone here about 10 days ago and i stopped the ativan then and have felt pretty good on magnesium.Stay away from xanax,never been in to drugs and that xanax was brutal.
