Sanders admits he's a liberal socialist, and will spend $18 trillion to make college free, etc.

Trump refuses to admit he's a socialist, but his plan will cost $12 trillion and he's vowed to punish people like hedge fund managers (you know, those same policies that Sanders wants, to punish those who work in the money field).

If you watched the debate and listen to as much rush/beck/hannity as I do, you'd realize Trump and Sanders are more alike than you'd like to admit ;)

Trump is the republican frontrunner for 4 months now, he's the face of the party you recently joined, coach, after deciding you weren't a clinton democrat anymore.  He's a lot like Sanders.  if you're going to shit on Sanders for making college free at a cost of $18 trillion, please shit on Trump for not making college free, but STILL blowing $12 trillion bucks.

Trump has very similar policies to Sanders as far as foreign policies go (not regarding immigration obviously) and on the structure and closing of the wealth gap..Wanting to close the wealth gap a bit doesn't make you a socialist....Trump is a better version of Sanders as i always say...Less politically correct in a time where we need that...Better negotiator, richer, has a sexy wife that would make a great first lady...Better at finding loopholes in the system to save America money at every corner..

"Are you a capitalist"
"No, I'm a democrat socialist" was Sanders' exact quote I think.  And he will make college and MANY social services free.

Trump claims to be 100% capitalism, but wow, in so many areas, he's a democrat.  He SUPPORTED taking in thousands of Syrian refugees (then he recanted after 3 days).   He SUPPORTED letting illegals stay (then he recanted after 2 days).

The likely republican nominee is Donald Trump.  He's a lifetime democrat who just hates obama and hates brown people from Mexico without papers.  That's it.  Asked about his policies, he's very vague intentionally and his economic plan is more liberal than Clinton's even.  He'll MASSIVELY grow the size of govt spending, while other repubs like Cruz will NOT.

All this hate today for Sanders, but he ADMITS what he is.  Trump has Republicans cheering for those same policies, but since they're wrapped in phrases like "greatness" and "USA is #1", the half-assed viewers don't realize the costs of his liberal policies.

Cue the insults now.

It's fine to follow politics as a spectator sport, like you would baseball or football, but unless you're one of the couple hundred people in the country who fund the presidential election and have a vested interest in who wins it's silly to think that any of this really matters to you.

I don't even know that it's ten-fold.

Sanders said he will spend $18 trillion.
Trump has said he will spend $12 trillion.

Sanders is going to make college free and healthcare cost what it does in Canada.

Ask any american which they prefer... 12 trillion for some vague cuts, or 18 trillion for free college and near-free medical care.   Good luck on that answer.

18 trillion for HUGE CHANGE in the social economics...People will have to develop a WHOLE DIFFERENT UNDERSTANDING of what is going to make them successful in life the MINUTE Bernie Sanders is elected (which he probably won't be anyway) seeing as a public education will be nearly worthless as it is already....And the prices of the higher level colleges raises tremendously because the demand is higher and the % of being hired straight out of there becomes much higher...Don't think this is true??? Many can't afford college and the statistics still aren't where they should be for someone paying to go to college and then statistically getting a job right out of there...Yes you can do WAYYY MOREEE than that with 6 trillion...Do you know how much 6 trillion is?? This is 1/9 the estimated value of America as a whole...I'm hoping you'd be able to make public colleges free with that...Trumps tax code for the long-term is much better as well....Colleges will be just as worth it to go if not more...And they will be more affordable..Don't you see the trend? More and more money printed by the liberals...Increase min. wage to keep up...Bottle of coke will be 5 dollars with a Sanders America...

I appreciate the thought you put into that post.  SOme good points.  Most right-leaning getbiggers just deliver insults because they're not bright enough to contribute an original thought.  I hope you keep posting here.

You're right there could be some slide in value with sanders' socialism.

Why the fuck should college be free?  Does Sanders realize that America needs millions of low wage jobs to make it run?  You want a bunch of college grads making $10 an hour at McDonalds?

Because just like healthcare, it's a right.

Same with housing, utilities, foodstuffs, phone, diapers (or abortions, optional), Xbox, weed, court costs, car payment, gas, DMV costs, fines/traffic school, and extra pocket scratch (duh), all fucking rights.

his belief is that we're a global economy now.   unless we find ways to innovate, we cannot compete globally.

Look at it this way... Picture the average McD worker you see when you walk in.  They're slow, not all that focused, unable to really find efficient ways of doing things.  NOW replace that person with YOU, a getbigger college graduate.  I bet you could walk in that place and find 20 ways to make the dang place run more efficiently on Day 1, because you're focused and clever and inventive.  College gave you those skills.

Now, imagine all the stupid, slow people working in menial jobs that you see on a daily basis.  NOW, imagine them with higher IQs.  Imagine them with strong communication skills, math ability, and greater logic ability.  They'd be able to do that job BETTER and reduce the # of people needed - and thus make more money.

You give me clever 3 college grads, and I bet we can run a McD better than 6 unfocused stoner high school dropouts.

I can see a line up of people spending 4 years in a free Yale or Harvard rushing out on graduation day to flip burgers ::)

With a socialist America those Harvard and Yale students would have needed to be in the 1% to afford college, and will continue to be in the 1% after they graduate. There will be 0 chance of people succeeding from nothing as far as education goes with a democratic socialistic America. In a socialistic America you might as well work at Mcdonalds for 15 an hour instead of going to free college because it's worth little/nothing and in those 4 years you could have earned a good amount of money and god knows how long you could continue to be working while that college student looks for an internship that will be TAKEN by someone that's NOT at a public college.

you know what I mean tho, right?

If everyone at McD had a 2-year associates degree with focus on food prep and business mgmt, it'd be a PLEASURE to order a mcgriddle there.

If 300 million americans suddenly have 2 or 4 more years of education, the GDP as a whole would skyrocket - exports in SO MANY areas would rise, tourism would increase, and so many other things we can't even fathom.

Picture everyone you meet with 2+ more years of education in them.  What a great place the USA would be.  New ideas, better service, etc.

The consumer will therefore by empowered to place an order in an improved and highly efficient manner providing additional revenues to all.
