American Horror Story
« on: October 16, 2015, 07:18:28 PM »
I try to get into this show with my wife. So far, the only two shows that I actually loved following with her are Breaking Bad and Walking Dead.

The new season of AHS is running, and the first two shows have finished. Is it me, or does anyone else have a hard time trying to understand what the hell is going on. I try to pay close attention and I remain puzzled for the entire duration of the show.

Same here. Tried to watch it. It's too all over the place and could not follow it. Didn't care to watch any more.

Currently watching ASYLUM and I hope that they explain what that creature is who climbs the stairs in each opening title scene

Very wierd, but understandable if you watch each episode and pay attention to each of the character developments.

But there are too many principle characters and side stories.

I assume you may be watching the Lady Gaga series which may be even stranger than ASYLUM.

First season great. Second ok. After that the show went to shit. It's more a chick thing as my wife loves it. It's retarded.

the 5th season is rubbish. Gaga put too much of her gay agenda in there imo. Also some of the scenes seemed to be put there just for the sake of introducing lady gagas opinion on fashion or style.

I loved the seasons 1-4, LOVED!

I watched the first episode of the 5th season because I wanted to entertain the idea that it will turn out great at any minute, but I was greatly disappointed. If you ask me, the 5th season don't exist.

Yes, the gay agenda is definitely strong in this season. I liked the other seasons a bit, but still, maybe it's just me, I never can grasp just what the hell is going on with any of them.

Some people excel in science, some in sports. Both look each other weird, but they are both right.

I know I sound a bit cocky, but I saw everything in the seasons. The way they acted their characters, I knew why the producers would choose those particular actors to act these characters, I saw all the metaphors and "hidden agendas" so I would actually get a big bang effect of "WOW AWESOME!" every time I watched them :D

Only liked Haunted House & Asylum. Watched the other 2 seasons too, but never really got into it, basically just a way to fill-in some nights I had nothing to do. I can however appreciate that each season is connected in various ways to every other season. Won't be watching the new season though, the concept has played out as far as I'm concerned, and I have very little interest in watching that real freakshow attempt to act.

The seasons are connected only by having the same actors, dawg. Every season is a completely new and differend story, they aren't continues from one another.

Started watching from season 1 with my mrs the other night. 3 eps in it's confusing, intriguing, weird but entertaining and we are kind of enjoying it so far.

There are infact recurring characters and intertwined timelines, look it up.

Only if it's vampire-themed. Ghosts, haunted houses, random paranormal ghoulery = no homo.
