I vividly remember Cormier calling me personally to plead his case concerning the at-the-time domestic assault allegations. He had read what I had penned about the incident in a previous edition of MMI and wanted to stem the tide of further exposure.

As I recall, Chris was close to tears recounting his side of the equation. Essentially begging us not to write anything further.

At the time I didn't take a side. With these loose-cannon freaks, who knows, right?

She was quite attractive in person. Photos, etc. didn't do as much for her, unfortunately.

Having said all this, in my experience, folks of this nature from the "industry" seem to have drama follow them ... forever.

He walked in on her doing hard drugs in front of their son was his defense. Still no reason to do what he did.
I don't know what happened to the case. But, after that she went down the softcore route. And I believe the case is what kept Chris from winning the Arnold against Jay so many times.
