2016 Mr Olympia Platinum Tickets - Sold Out

I was at the Europa Phoenix contest last week and Bob Chick was the MC.  He did a good job.  In one of his remarks he said the Platinum VIP tickets for the 2016 Mr. Olympia have already been sold out.

What does that include and how much does it cost?  Sorry but I don't believe this.  There were plenty of empty seats on Saturday and they said sell out unless people left early. 

Hopefully they will have a better show for attendees next year.  It was pretty lackluster

I don't know how much the Platinum VIP seats costs, but obviously they are the most expensive.  I don't know Bob Chick personally, but I don't know why he would publicly tell a complete lie about this.

It's probably one of those deals where you just buy your tickets for the next year while you're there.

I wouldn't waste my money on that  but that's just me. The one good thing about bodybuilding is that people are so accessible during the weekend. You can literally go up to people and talk with them and take pictures. I would not pay extra money for that because we were running into People all weekend without even trying.

 Hopefully there will be some new and upcoming guys that will infuse some life into the mens open division.

Now, VIP Packages (which are Gold and Silver) sell out very, very quick. And for 2015, sold out well in advance.

I actually needed some for some special customers, but could not get them, so yes, these sell out way beforehand.

You all forget how many international fans come to the Olympia, and spend time in Vegas also.  I have met quite a few fans at the Olympia that visit Getbig too. And believe it or not, many are pretty cool!

I guess if it's your first trip then you should do it but my advice if you're a first timer is to just hang out at the Orleans. Stay there because you see everyone there.  When you go to the expo just chill and it's crazy how accessible People are.

What was crazy is that Dana Linn Bailey's line was like 2 HOURS or more long. Ronnie barely had any line and you could just go up to him and talk to him. I thought it was kind of sad

I have stayed at the Orleans Hotel now since they moved the evening contests the Orleans Arena.  The free shuttle back and forth from this hotel to the convention center is much easier than using the car (I actually rest on the air conditioned bus rides).  Food isnt bad either (they have a Friday's there, but I prefer Koji (which is sushi and Chinese Food - yes, I get Orange Chicken).  

But many people do stay on the strip and just cruise over here (6 minute cab ride or so).

Dana's fan base is absolutely incredible now, goes much further than just the bodybuilding-figure-fitness crowd.  Hence, why her line is so big and people wait.

We stayed on the strip and it's super easy to get around by cab so if people are concerned about that then don't be.

I thought that it was great they had busses to and from the convention center for people. I didn't eat at the Orleans but I did spend time in the Mardi Gras bar or whatever it was called on Friday afternoon  

Dana and her husband have really built something and I don't begrudge them. At least they have something positive going. I didn't recognize any of the Internet people/celebs but you know what? People recognized them when we were out on the town so like you say Ron it goes further than bodybuilding/fitness
