Apparently; he could lie... Straight-faced... to anyone that questioned his triceps.

He insisted that he had no oil in his arms. None. He claimed that his triceps just grew easy.

I remember I believed this lie in the late 90's and early 2000's, when I was in my late teens and early 20's. I saw him compete at the NOC. I also believed his lies because he was under Dorian's tutelage and Dorian said in Flex magazine that his arms grew so easily that they didn't need to be trained much.

I can't believe that Dorian gave this guy some credibility.

Demayo, Baker, Levrone, Dillett, and Priest all had great triceps. Ernie Taylor's tris looked nothing like their triceps.

Pretty sure you should see a doctor if your arm looks like that.

I'm guessing that his triceps were below average in the first place. Today his triceps are probably very small.

he had decent arms, he just ruined them with shots.
He always swore it was site injection as opposed to oil.
He used to have bee sting lumps on his teardrops as well.

It was Muscular Development that first brought attention to him stateside back in 1996. This is as when they were a "natural" magazine. His arms were listed at 22.5 back then. Then back in 1997, Flex Magazine did a photoshoot after he took 3rd (?) at the NOC. It was at this time that he said his arms were 23.5. His triceps had no real shape. Funny how even Flex Magazine was duped.

I saw him compete in a NABBA show(pro-am) in 94, his arms were big and stood out then, he claimed at the time site injection swelling when he was asked backstage.

All natural - Ernie's secret was doing tricep extensions with 405... %.005 style.
As written in Flex magazine  :D

It's all oil anyway pump enough into one spot who knows. Once you find a good site to inject into that isn't a minefield why stop  ;D
