Johan Cruijff has lung cancer....

For all non-USA gerbiggers: the best soccer player ever, Johan Cruijff, has been diagnosed with lung cancer.
This means there is a 90% chance he will die within the next 5 years........

Cruijff has been the most famous Dutch person for about 2 or 3 decades....and one of the best ever soccer players ever, with Pele, Maradonna, and Messi....

In the 70s, his heyday, he smokes up to 80 fags a day.
In 1990, he quit smoking after heart surgery......time has got up to him now...

Advice to getbiggers who (still) smoke: quit now.
Smoking is by far the most important avoidable risk factor for cancer and other deadly stuff...

There is counseling plus pharmaceutical help if you wanna quit.

On paper the dutch always have an amazing team.... They all fall out, every single time.. , its funny that other countries assume the Dutch have this 'laid back' attitude..ive worked with loads and they were all worky tickets and hard to deal with

Historically yes, but their current squad is weak. Robben, Sneijder and Van Persie are all at the tail end of their careers and they haven't got any players coming through to replace them. It's sad to see considering the amount of great players they've produced in the past.

"On paper" they should have been WC a few times and EC more than once.....in the best clubs Dutch players are top scorers....in the National Team it just doesn't work enough.....well 3rd in 2014 WC and 2nd in WC 2010 is not totally crap though.... :(

They all did it the 60s and 70s.....locker room was one big wall of blue, you could cut through it with a knife.
Like the teachers room back in high school in those days......I remember my school teachers smoked in the classroom.
