I'm not smart enough to argue about all this shit we are discussing here but here are two statements that may be related to this 10% of your brain discussion.
1. I have a family member who is just about average when it comes to smarts, brains and how they function, but she can hear someone play the piano and then sit at that same piano and play is almost exactly as the original piano player played it.
And she has never had a piano lesson in her lifetime, but she plays a great rinky- tink piano.
2. And when it comes time to recall who lived in an apartment 30 years ago and the date they departed, she is able to provide those details plus their names and where they came from and where they worked.
But eventually she got alzhimers and forgot everything.
About 20 years ago I asked a genius friend of mime to refer me to a book that is impossible to understand by the vast majority of educated earthly individuals.
She referred me to DANCING WU LI MASTERS ... a book about basic Quantum Mechanics.
I'm slowly beginning to understand QM but I am now on my 10th reading of this amazing book and recently had the opportunity to discuss it with a physics professor who said that I had a pretty good understanding of the subject matter which no one completely understands.
I wish that all GetBiggers would read this book and make an attempt at answering some of the questions I still have.
I can guarantee that it will take a shit-load more than 10% to comprehend it completely.
Or even 10% of it.
