I did the same but with diet! I watched some video where Jay said he ate a ton of carbs (don't remember the exact number of grams, but i think he said it was close to 1,000g/day), so I thought, shit, I need to start packing away carbs! Needless to say I got fat as fuck eating the way Jay claimed to eat.

Jay ate 10 meals a day. He could easily reach 1000 carbs a day w/ a minimum of 100 grams at each meal. I think that he was eating every 90 minutes.

I was always kind of surprised at how small the protein portions were at his meals though. But again; with 10 meals a day, there was no need to eat heavy at one individual meal.

squat to get big legs, or deads for big back

I have gotten more leg and back growth from stiff legged or dumbbell stiff legged or trap bar deadlifts and safety or front squats than back squats and regular deadlifts. Plus I actually feel good.

I feel the same about rack pulls. I only ever went to them because of a lower back injury. But since trying them I've not gone back.

I think that #4 is good advice for women that have a tendency to over eat at night

What about men who over eat at night? Does it not affect them the same as it does women?

Men carry more muscle and less fat than women carry; so men can get away with things that would make women balloon up

Less is better to gain muscles (in case of "overtraining").
Stretching before and after training (what a waste of time !)
Training abs and calves (purely genetics).
