In just about every community, oxy's and Heroin seem to be an epidemic. Which leads to sharing needles and increases the risk as you mentioned.

Charlie Sheen is the rumor. In a bigger article, it's claimed that a pornstar named "Taylor Tilden" that he was keeping company with found out, and was blackmailing him for big bucks. When the money stopped rolling in, she blew up his spot. The article also mentions various small illnesses keeping him away from the set of his new show, etc....
