As for saying "you are weak" adonis, who are you talking about? Europeans? Eu is 27 or so nations. Eu has gone through several treaties since foundation in 1955. Ireland joined in 1973; it has become less democratic over time but it is hard to solve that same as hard to solve US politics being about funding and polarised party politics followed by trying to appeal to centreground after party nominations.

Give me your solution to that and how a popular vote can result in a president being chosen with less votes due to division of states. Why are california and new york underrepresented? How is illegal immigration going there? Over 1 million a year?

Forgot this post. Anyway, at height of refugee crisis, you know, threat to whole European project with borders being closed etc, some part of eu (commission, councel, parliament... like i said.... undemocratic) pushed a law to essentially copyright landmark images. So big ben, eiffel tower, acropolis whatever. Of course it is completely unenforcable, who owns copyright to image of a public landmark, so just another stupid law debated and passed while ignoring big issues.

People have to realise the genesis of european union and founding reasons (peace through economic interdependence) have been bastardised and it has become some wierd multi faceted organisation that makes pan eu laws and policies but without individual member agreement these are just bullshit. Usa has had similar tests to its accountability with whole nsa spying revelations which contravene constitution but at least there is more coherence and accountability.
