I dont understand this at all. Why would a place have a high gate with security officers at the gate, and then 20 yards or so down the fence is 3 feet high and obviously simple to hop over to gain access to this so called "guarded place". Whats the purpose? Baffling. Any security experts on here to explain this to me?

I'm sure there are laser type perimeter alarms and pressure mats at certain points beyond that point if this really is a smaller high security area. If it's a school or hospital or similar, it more about perceived security at the high traffic points.

The dude close to the fence is white. The super dangerous electric fence with the buzz saws on top deploys when a Hebrew gets close.

Go visit any of these gated communities or even buildings that have a complex system to gain access to the grounds and you will realize that there are many other points of entry that are unguarded .

These things are designed to give the illusion of security so you can charge people more money to live there.

An extreme and not related example of a false sense of security is when banks spend a ton of money on a complex safe system just to get broken into by someone busting thru a wall from next door and getting into the vault via another method. This has happened many times.

An honest security company would ask clients "how secure would you like to feel" because that's for the most part what you get, a nice illusion of security.

The population figure for any urban area should be given as the figure followed by "... people, shitty all day long."

This is most likely correct. Even older cctv systems had excellent ptz (pan tilt zoom) capabilities and ~50x zoom, and software clients that offered reliable motion detection sensitivities. Security would have plenty of time to respond assuming the security system itself is not not all smoke and mirrors and only intended as a deterrent.

Was speaking to someone last week. He said someone he knows got drugs into a prison yard using a drone - I asked how did they drop it? Froze package onto plate on bottom so it would melt and drop.

You can make security but someone will always find a way through.

The most idiotic thing to do is assume any system is foolproof. As for this place, does it need to be highly guarded? Randommers have flown helicoptors and ran over fence and up to White House so I guess it is widespread.
