Ron was friggin huge. In some ways, he was a earlier version of Flex Wheeler. Not has round as Flex, but had some serious wow factor.

Ron in that pose looks a lot like Ronnie. Look at the traps, shoulders, the arms...the shape of is quite similar.

This is a good call. Saw him in person at the Lincoln Park MI Powerhouse in the early 90's. Unreal in person.

JJ and I trained together the year the Olympia was tested and I was getting ready for the Nationals (or was it the USA?) anyway, that was the year he tested positive..lol.

Is that the same Ron Love? I remember in Flex's book, that he had a pic with Ron Love and his wife Madeline (it was a wedding pic), and the Ron Love in that was a tad darker and chubbier, more power lifter type than bodybuilder

I spoke with Vince and Ron several times in the 80's and 90's. Some of the nicest guys you'll ever meet in bodybuilding.

ron love looked good but taylor is way to complete to compare.taylor did not have too many weaknesses other than for the era the big legs look,he had great seperation and killer calves some of the best.

Yes. Sev lived in Detroit for a while, Ron works out/trains at a Powerhouse somewhere on the east side, I believe.

He used to train at the Highland Park PH as well as the Lincoln Park PH.

He used to be a policeman. I don't know if he went to jail. I think Johnnie Morant went to jail or was on the run.
