did your karate training ever save you in a real world situation?

I remember as a kid lots of my peers studied Karate, so I figure there must be a fair few black belts on Getbig.Did it save you and how?

I never had Karate/MA training just basic boxing & takedowns (leg sweeps, etc...) & I STILL beat a Chinese guy who attacked me for no reason- he had MA training in Chinese airforce...

Yes but only because the other has 0 technique and are not used to being attacked by someone else's foot. They always wanna bump chests first and try to exchange right fists. Hell no...

I trained about 4 years. It never saved me but gave me confidence that if shit went down I could handle business.

Yes. I beat up 6 ninjas that tried to car jack me. I did injury my hand though..that surprised me since I smash bricks all day

My neighbor broke his hand several times trying to chop various items in half. It worked out great for him.
