I agree with you. Someone needs to be held accountable aside from the President, but as he wasn't holding them accountable, I'm guessing everyone is working with the premise that the next people coming in won't put up with that "shit".

No one was going to do shit, but the Football team not playing would cost them 1 million dollars per game.

Sure there is a choice. You can't have football teams across the country, threatening to sit out unless the get their way. I guarantee if another school's football team tries that shit, they will release all of the scholarship players, and play games with a team of walk-ons.

They got away with it this time, but they won't be able to strong arm the school's or the NCAA from now on.


The only chance they have, would be for most (or all) of Div.1 teams to sit out together, to campaign to get some form of payment (aside from scholarships) for making the universities millions of dollars.
