interesting, thanks. Didn't this happen at wcw though, not wwe and before wcw was bought out?
So he's ok with Goldberg then, says alot about his character, many would hold a grudge for sure.

no, a neck muscle that attached to the skull was torn, leaving a gap where it use to be. as far as Goldberg, Bret more feels that he was a product of wwe pushing out guys before they were ready.  bill was huge, powerful, had a great gimmick, but technically he was a clumsy bull with no timing from lack of proper training.

could be, I didn't really follow it for quite a while.  ya, Bret is a very calm quiet guy that never really seems to be upset at anyone.

yup, had a few nicknames, like many rasslers.   strangler was the namesake from the boston strangler albert disalvo

He was also Steve Strong when he lived in Montreal and wrestled with International Wrestling.

One of my school chums served Steve in the Hot Dog place he worked at and was raving  about his size which was funny because the same kid was 6'4" and 250lbs solid at 16 lol

ya he was pretty awesome.  I was probably his only friend in Calgary. after he moved back to the US he would come to Calgary to deal with his rental properties.  we would always go eat at Humpties, a breakfast place.

one time at a wrestling match autograph signing he was in the corner by himself.  my old roommate at the time was also wrestling, went up to steve and said 'you don't really like people do you?'   he replied ' I fukking hate people'   pretty much summed it up.
