Porzingis was the Knicks 1st Round Pick. A lot of people in NYC were not thrilled. He is only 20 years old. He is doing good.

He does need to gain some weight. But he is only a rookie.

Basketball is a horribly boring and worthless sport. There is literally a penalty every few seconds. Any physical contact and its a penalty. Not to mention they are all giants and jump 2 inches off the ground to dunk the ball. By far the worst sport to watch.

I'm not a huge fan either but those guys are unbelievably athletic.

Hes from my country so I started to watch Knicks playing - I must say that NBA games are REAAALY boring and I watch them only because of Porzingis (as we doesnt have any other NBA player)

The only drama that Porzingis has is that he averages 4 fouls per game

I agree, my friend. Well said. It's a traveling circus of clowns in baggy shorts. 60s and 70s were when I enjoyed watching and playing but never again.

Last 5 minutes of the 4th quarter is all a person needs to watch to understand basketball. It's the most crooked sport of the big 4 in America. It's more entertainment than it is "sport".

I'm a Sixers fans and instead of watching the games, I've just been watching his individual highlights that are put on YouTube after each game.

He is so skilled offensively. Beautiful post moves and a decent jump shot out to about 18 feet. He reminds me of a more offensively ingenious Tim Duncan. He's not terribly athletic, but I think that since he doesn't have to rely on elite athleticism that he'll have a very long, productive career.

Yeah, he can't defend or rebound, but offensively he reminds me of Duncan. Tim is Okafor's idol and the player he models his game after so it makes sense.

but the NBA is so bad at calling fouls and violations.
