I don't even recall seing a woman bench. DL: there was that 130lbs Brazilian girl who used to SLDL about 180lbs (80kgs) for ten reps. Good form. Squat: the one I remember was a super skinny chick, about 5ft high, 40kg who used to squat more than twice her weight for 10 reps, ass to the ground. I later got the info she was a top rock climber.

A little lass who I assume was a powerlifter used to squat every day for an hour and a half and would do doubles and triples Rock bottom with about 60 to 70 kg for the hour, don't know what she could max. She was tiny but with a tight well shaped arse. Could pulldown 3 quarters of the stack strict.

I recently benched 235 with a sling shot and sleeves on. I can dead 275 for a few reps and pulled 315 a couple times. Not too comfortable at 315 yet though. I can squat 225 for reps but have also done 315 again, felt very heavy. I did this in a Smith just to be safe.

Bench: the IPF world record holder in the -84 class, so quite a lot. Don't recall the exact weight she did that day, only about 170 kg or so.

Squat: 120 kg raw, half squats, discuss thrower. Definitely believed her to be clean. 150 kg quarter squats: my wife.

Deadlift: 180 kg or so, masters competitor.

Never felt more danger squatting heavy than on a Smith.

Really? Why did you feel that way? I have only been training about 5 months so the idea of being able to hook it in a split second makes me more at ease.

Sure, you will attend when you're completely happy about your results. HAH! Like that will ever happen ;D. But wait, how much you weigh?

It probably won't happen because I'm always going to want to be stronger. I'm not telling you how muc I weigh, don't be silly. I've lost a good 90lbs since I started training (Yes, gasp I was really overweight) and I am still overweight but I will continue to eat clean and train and by next summer I'm sure I'll be happy with my end result.

That's the vanity of the sport. You're never happy, you keep chasing the dream until you're so old you can't possibly do it anymore and many of the old veterans get deep depression because of it later on. It's not sustainable.

Just enjoy what you got now and push forward the best you can but don't lose your mind for it. And I find it cute that you don't give your weight, like it's some sort of holy matramony between you and god :D. But congrantulation for losing 90lbs, that takes a shit tonn of drive and dedication.

If you're so competetive, you should just go and compete and whatever happends, happends. They tell me that you really start to go to the next level after your first competition, because you humble yourself first and then you start to train like a machine.

I once saw a lanky black chick power clean 80kg with perfect form for a few reps. I was later told she's an aspiring track athlete who could make the British Olympic team for the 2012 games. I don't think she did at the end but her strength and technique was impressive.
I remember reading that actress Jada Pinkett Smith can apparently bench just under 200lbs. However, I've personally never seen a woman bench over 50kg yet.

Let me answer your question by a question: how do you place your legs? If you're not doing Hack Squats (which I also don't recommend) then I don't see how you can respect the motion of a "classic" squat without putting your lower back in a dangerous situation.

Just two days ago, there was a Hebrew girl squatting ATG with 405 for like 4 reps out of the monolift.

You could tell she had been powerlifting for a good decade or so.

I never saw it that way... I will definitely take this into consideration and nix the Smith.

Shit. I do hacks. What's your beef with them?
