Who is ISIS? No one can define them. They are everywhere but nowhere. Claim to be Muslim but then go and blow Muslims and mosques up.  They don't have a defined leader of backing yet have all sorts of money and weapons.  They take Hollywood quality videos of executions in 4K video.  Doesn't sound like a group of desert monkeys.

Russia's involvement in the conflict is mostly to strengthen Assad's position rather than defeat ISIS.

As long as Assad remains leader of Syria, Putin is clearly doing what's required.

ISIS can't really be defeated since it's more an ideology, and one that has exited for over a thousand years.

US-Forces did a shit in Syria. Thank God there's a guy like Putin who doesn't talk, he takes action. Europe gets full of this muslims. And the only barrier we have are the Russian soldiers. So, yes they are there and fighting for our freedom.
