My problem isn't with religion. Religion (itself) is a good thing, it's us who mess everything up. I couldn't care less if a person sacrificed cute kittens to Satan if they kept it to themselves.
Threatened? No. Mistrustful is a better term. There's no difference between fundamentalists, regardless of flavor.
It's not ever a good thing! no one needs it, NO ONE. it offers nothing but a crutch and diversion from life's harsh realities. Religion is for those who cannot face their humanity, everything it offers was always inside to begin with.
You should follow no man, think for yourself, scientology is a religion, it has everything christianity does, offers the ultimate answers to life and keys to it!
Take the recent pope for example, his popularity is increasing? even among secular people, why? because he is abandoning religious teachings and using his brain, aka being a human. It doesn't require the bible for me to put two and two together, "I don't like pain, others feel pain, it would be best for no pain". Logic my friend.
